Visiting the University of Redlands

With a backdrop of two of the highest mountains in California, orange groves, hundreds of iconic palm trees and unique architecture styles of Greek, Spanish and Modern California, the University of Redlands is a place you need to see for yourself. We also want you to experience the warmth of our community. With a variety of opportunities to visit us, we hope you will find this information helpful in planning your visit.

First Year Students

Campus Visits
Campus Visits are available Monday - Friday at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:00pm. Saturday Campus Visits begin September 30, and are available at 9:30am and 12:30pm.

Your day begins with a 30 minute information session led by one of our admissions counselors, followed by an hour long walking tour with one of our student guides. They will take you around our beautiful campus and share their story.

Appointments with an Admissions Counselor
Appointments with a counselor are not required for admissions, but are an opportunity for students to share their educational journey.  Appointments last 30 minutes. Please choose a time that does not conflict with your campus visit time.

Transfer Students

Transfer Application Overviews 
By attending, you will learn about the transfer admissions process, services provided to students, and you will have the option to attend a campus tour.

Transfer Advising Appointments
In the appointment you will learn more about the steps you can take to transfer to the University from a 2-year or 4-year college.  In order to best advise you in course selection and next steps, we highly recommend you bring an unofficial transcript from your current or former college(s).

Day Visit

For Seniors and Transfer students, day visits are a great opportunity to experience campus from a current student perspective. Your visit could include attending a class, meeting with a professor, grabbing a bite to eat with current students, and participating in a campus event. Day visits are available Monday through Friday during the school year beginning September 12.  

Day Visits are currently unavailable. Please check back in January for our available dates. Please wait on making plans to visit campus until our Visit Manager has reached out to you confirming your visit.

Overnight Visit

Experience the residence halls for yourself. Overnight visits are specifically for high school seniors and are limited to one night only. Students are paired with one of our overnight hosts who has an extra bed in their room. Students will be provided bedding and meals. There is no cost for overnight programs.

Group Visit

Group Visits
Group visits are available for 9th to 12th grade students, most Mondays thru Fridays at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The visit includes  a one hour student panel and overview with an admissions representative. We encourage you to walk around our beautiful campus afterwards. An information sheet will be provided. Group visits need to be scheduled at least 3 weeks in advance and groups of up to 50 students can be accommodated. We cannot wait to welcome your group to campus!
