DESCRIPTION:   The Department of Political Science at the University of Redlands welcomes applications for the Fletcher Jones Foundation Chair in American Politics to begin in the Fall 2017 semester.

POSITION CRITERIA:   Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Political Science (American Politics or Comparative Politics with U.S. expertise), with at least five years of professional experience, preferably at a liberal arts institution.  We especially welcome applications from candidates from historically under-represented groups and those interested in making contributions to the University’s Public Policy and other interdisciplinary programs.  Excellence in teaching and dedication to mentoring our diverse undergraduate student population are essential qualifications for this position.
