Student Involvement and Success

Student Involvement at Redlands serves to enhance the overall student experience through programs intended to develop, educate, and entertain.  We know our students’ involvement in co-curricular activities can be some of their most memorable and transformational experiences.

We believe learning goes beyond the classroom and being involved in student clubs and organizations, student government, or other types of student leadership programs is one of the most important and valuable aspects of the college experience. Involvement provides valuable learning and leadership experience and helps students to develop personally, intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually.

Throughout the semester Social Affairs and various departments and organizations host free social alternative programs on campus. Programs in the past have included: blockbuster moving screenings, laser tag, Wii tournaments, make your own sushi, a haunted house, tailgates, trivia, canvas painting, casino nights, comedy shows, table tennis tournaments, 3x3 basketball tournaments, and various other fun activities.

We also do programs off-campus called Bulldog Buses.  These typically have a small fee ($5-$20) and have included trips to Santa Monica Pier, Mockingjay, and Avengers Movie Premier at the local Krikorian movie theater, and WICKED at Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

Each week, you can expect to receive a newsletter via email from Student Affairs titled Bulldog Nation with a list of upcoming campus programs.

Finals Week Stress-Reducing Programs take place throughout study days and finals week to help students de-stress!  Activities include puppypalooza, DIY crafts and art, open volleyball and basketball, massage therapy, free food, cookie decorating, free coffee breaks, and much more!
