If you love sports and want a fast-paced job that keeps you involved in an active community on campus, consider working for IM sports. We are looking for qualified individuals who are knowledgeable and responsible to be a part of our staff.
There are two work study positions with Intramurals: managers and staff.
Staff are those who set up the fields, keep time and score, and perform the other miscellaneous duties that keep intramurals running. The position can not be guaranteed a full ten house a week, but will get hours when available.
Managers are chosen from staff members who have shown dedication to the program and demonstrated responsibility and a solid understanding of the sports played. They work both in the office and on the field-planning, scheduling and running games and are the ones who keep the show running smoothly. Managers must be able to fill in as referees as needed.
Referees are chosen on a per sport basis. They are required to play the sport they are refereeing at a collegiate level or have prior refereeing experience and extensive experience in that sport.
