The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) is an innovative graduate degree program designed to meet the ever-changing needs of today's businesses. With the continued redistribution of IT work throughout the world, IT professionals benefit from developing the management and leadership skills required to complete and excel in the mid-to-high end of the technology field.
The Redlands MSIT program can be completed in 12 or 24 months. It provides a balanced curriculum focused on providing students with a broad foundation in current and emerging technology and trends, coupled with the best practices of management of information technology resources and systems.
Preparing students to become leaders:The MSIT program is primarily focused on providing key management skills that prepare graduates to take high-profile leadership roles in planning, designing, implementing, and managing strategic information technology and information systems. A successful graduate will flourish in a job that requires technical leadership and understanding; research and analysis of business and organizational requirements related to strategic utilization of IT/IS; and creative application of existing and emerging technology to solve complex business problems.
