In an effort to advance 21st century business innovation, the University of Redlands School of Business is collaborating with WeWork to expand membership and educational opportunities for University of Redlands’ alumni and WeWork members throughout Southern California.

The partnership complements the business school’s Southern California footprint, which includes campuses in Burbank, Orange County, and San Diego. The School of Business will have offices in two of the 21 WeWork Southern California locations, including Gas Tower/Los Angeles and La Jolla/San Diego.

“We are excited to open in these strategic locations and engage with the highly innovative WeWork member community across the Southern California network,” said Thomas Horan, dean of the School of Business at the University of Redlands. “It also allows us to introduce this shared working model to our faculty, staff, students, and alumni.”

In addition to offices, the partnership includes membership discounts for University of Redlands faculty, staff, students, and alumni and tuition discounts for WeWork members who enroll in the school’s business degree programs.

“We see this as a win-win for WeWork and the University of Redlands,” said Yossi Piekarski, director of growth projects at WeWork. “This partnership allows the University community an incentive to consider the shared office approach to work and provides our WeWork members with an opportunity to interact with a highly reputable Southern California business school.”

The School of Business took occupancy of its offices in late August and have events planned for each location. Learn more about this collaboration.
