Performance opportunities abound with more than 200 performances on campus annually, including the university's holiday tradition, the Feast of Lights. Our ensembles have been heard at conferences including NCCO, ACDA, CASMEC, Choral Canada, and have toured to exciting destinations including New York City, Portland, Newfoundland, and others! We have done complete performances of major works such as Berlioz Requiem, Verdi Requiem, Mozart Requiem, as well as newly commissioned works and everything in between.
The Conservatory of Music has a very close and special relationship with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra (RSO). Redlands students get to see their teachers perform in Memorial Chapel as the principal players in the RSO and qualified students have the opportunity to play in the RSO as an assistant, substitute or section player. The student winner of the University of Redlands Concerto Competition earns the opportunity to perform with the RSO on a regular subscription series concert.
