What is an artist's diploma in music?

The artist diploma is designed for musicians who already possess a high level of technical skill and artistic maturity. It focuses on intensive, performance-oriented training that helps students reach the highest professional standards. Unlike traditional academic programs, an artist's diploma emphasizes hands-on experience through one-on-one coaching, masterclasses, and ample performance opportunities.

Why earn your artist's diploma at Redlands?

At Redlands, the artist's diploma program allows musicians like you to hone specific skills tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether it's mastering a challenging repertoire, developing a distinct artistic voice, or refining stage presence, this targeted focus can help bridge the gap between your graduate-level study and a professional career.

Take the next step:

Prospective students must have a master's degree in music and audition specific to each instrument or voice. Once admitted, students must pass an Artist Diploma Entrance Jury (scheduled within the normal year-end jury examinations) by the end of the first year before being allowed to continue in the program.

  • Applied Music - 24 credits
