University Common Academic Calendar Financial Aid and Billing

Information about the benefits of the University’s common calendar and how it will impact your billing and financial aid experience.

In 2022-2023 the University established a common academic calendar framework across all academic programs at University of Redlands, with the exception of the Graduate School of Theology (GST).  This means that all academic programs start and finish within a common block of instructional weeks, which enables students improved access to register for courses across the University.

The common academic program maximizes access to courses, study away programs, and pathways for all of our students.  It also streamlines billing and maximizes financial aid opportunities for students with the most demonstrated financial need.  For purposes of financial aid and billing, the University has established three periods of enrollment detailed below.

Fall 2023: Classes that fall between August 28, 2023 and December 16, 2023

Spring 2024: Classes that fall between January 8, 2024 and April 27, 2024

Summer 2024: Classes that fall between April 29, 2024 and August 17, 2024

Please review the FAQs below for more information about the benefits of the University’s common calendar and how it will impact your billing and financial aid experience.  If you have any questions, please contact Student Financial Services at SFS@redlands.edu or 909-748-8047.
