About Dr. Longin

Teri Longin is a Professor of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Redlands. She teaches general chemistry and physical chemistry courses as well as an upper-level chemistry course on writing and presenting in the discipline. Her research explores the reaction of ozone with molecular components of plant waxes and identifying and quantifying trace compounds in sour beers and spirits. She has also done research focused on chemical education. Dr. Longin collaborates with undergraduate students in all her research, and has co-authored several presentations and publications with her students.
