About Raquel Arellano-Jackson

Raquel Arellano-Jackson, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and began working at the University of Redlands Counseling Center in 2022. Her experience consists primarily of working with children, adolescents, and young adults in community-based and school settings. She is passionate about work in identity exploration, suicide prevention and education, parenting skills, and trauma. She practices from various approaches, including: CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused methods. More importantly, Raquel believes that clients are the experts of their own lives and that therapists are present to guide, support, and advocate for them. She is committed to creating a warm and inclusive space that honors the diversity within each individual.
