About

Samantha is a political economist with research interests in social reproduction, health economics, and economic history. Her dissertation research applied Social Structure of Accumulation theory to case studies of recent U.S. healthcare reforms. Her current research analyzes the organization and distribution of care in the United States. She is on the advisory committees for Health, Medicine, and Society (HMS) and Race and Ethnic Studies/Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (REST/WGS).
