As the Spatial Research Manager, Lisa Benvenuti plays a pivotal role in fostering a thriving environment for research, innovation, and education. With 25 years of GIS Experience at the University of Redlands, she serves as a cornerstone of support and instruction, offering invaluable guidance to both students and faculty engaged in various research, projects, and curriculum development endeavors. Her expertise extends to technical leadership, where she takes charge of geodatabase design and implementation, cartographic design and development, and product quality assurance/control. Lisa's commitment to excellence encompasses a broad spectrum of duties, such as collaborating with faculty to craft interdisciplinary GIS lessons and workshops, crafting, converting, aggregating, and compiling spatial data as needed, and geodatabase design and technical support for research projects. She also contributes to the visibility of the University's spatial programs, oversees and maintains the Spatial programs web pages and ArcGIS Online organizational portal, and coordinates various spatial outreach activities.
