Evelyn Linares

Evelyn Linares was born in Texas and raised in California, where she has lived her entire life. A proud first-generation college graduate, she earned a dual degree in Spanish and International Studies from the University of California, Irvine. During her undergraduate experience, Evelyn had the opportunity to study abroad and intern in both Italy and Spain, enriching her global perspective and professional skills.

After completing her bachelor’s degree, Evelyn served as a Transformative Education Counselor at a non-profit organization in Hollywood. Driven by her passion for student support and advocacy, she went on to earn a Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Southern California. Evelyn’s diverse background spans non-profit work, career services, DEI, and social justice, with experience in various educational settings, including non-profits, private and public institutions, and community colleges.

Now at the University of Redlands, Evelyn is eager to contribute to the university’s mission and foster meaningful connections across campus. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys running, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
