About Dr. Charlene Jin Lee
Dr. Charlene Jin Lee is a practical theologian whose work centers on identity, voice, and context in spiritual formation. Attending to the middle space between reflection and action, Jin Lee engages learning praxis that engender integrity in theological claims grounded in lived-experience and public witness. She is a community advocate involved with equitable housing solutions and workforce development for underserved populations. A member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), she is a mentor for RISE Together National Mentorship Network of Women of Color in Ministry.
Jin Lee served as Assistant Professor of Christian Education and Director of Student Formation at San Francisco Theological Seminary and Lecturer in Spirituality and Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University. She has taught in the SFTS Doctor of Ministry program since 2011.
