Panhellenic Council is the governing body over all six local sororities. The President of Panhellenic jointly runs Greek Council with the President of the Inter-Fraternity Council.

Alpha Sigma Pi is a tight-knit group of women who strive to honor uniqueness while fostering strong bonds between members. In addition to lifelong friendship, Sigma strives to promote academic excellence, community involvement, leadership, and personal growth. Women in Sigma are involved in many facets of campus life including; Residence Life, Peer Education, the Admissions Team, Departmental Honor Societies, Maroon and Grey, Theatre, Music, Panhellenic Council, and Order of Omega.

Alpha Theta Phi

Values: Character, Companionship, and Culture 
Year Founded: 1911 

Alpha Theta Phi is made up of a group of strong, close-knit and outgoing women who strive to be the best they can be in all aspects of life both on and off campus. For over 100 years, Thetas have prided themselves on being devoted members of the Greek and U of R community. You'll find them involved in various organizations, clubs and sports teams on campus such as Big Buddies, Delta Sigma Pi, Alpha Phi Omega, soccer, track and more. Thetas do a lot of community service for local organizations and causes, and direct much of their efforts and fundraising support towards their philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood.

Alpha Xi Omicron

Colors: Coral, White, and Silver 
Values: Nobility, Hospitality, Consecration 
Year Founded: 1927 
Re-Founded: 1998 

Alpha Xi Omicron is a local sorority of 90+ years. It is made up of a tight-knit group of women who stand for diversity, among many other things. Our members are involved in several things on campus such as Jaspers Corner, NSSHLA, Social Affairs, Big Buddies, Relay for Life, and more. Our philanthropy is RAINN week, and we take pride in spreading awareness about sexual abuse across campus. We also participate in sports including lacrosse, swim, and intramurals. Our women also do philanthropic work off campus, from beach cleanups to working in the senior living home. We hold community service, friendship, and academic success close to our hearts and strive to keep our traditions alive by instilling the same amount of love and work ethic in all of our women. Our motto is “Alis Volat Propriis”, which means, “She flies with her own wings” in Latin.

Academics and community service are held very near and dear to Beta’s hearts. We try to achieve academic success and give back to our community as much as possible, especially through our philanthropy with the Yucaipa Animal Placement Society (YAPS). We also enjoy having fun at our annual all-school party, Afterglow. Beta women try their best to uphold our values of reliability, graciousness, and beauty of character at all times. We pride ourselves on being a diverse and involved group on campus and find that our differences, as well as similarities, anchor us in sisterhood, not only for our time here at the U of R, but for the rest of our lives.

Delta includes diverse and unique women who strive for excellence as individuals and sisters. Delta Kappa Psi values a rich history of sisterhood and tradition dating back 105 years. We enjoy campus involvement, academics, community service and of course friendship. The women in Delta Kappa Psi pride ourselves on our values and upholding traditions, as well as our campus involvement. You will always see Deltas supporting each other and bringing the school spirit. Delta women are responsible for bringing Body Image Awareness Week to campus.

Year Founded: 1926 (Re-founded 2011) -the nation's first environmentally focused sorority 
Values: Individuality, Creativity, Compassion for Nature, and Zeal for the Future 

Kappa Pi Zeta is a newly re-founded sorority that emphasizes creating awareness and understanding of environmental issues as they relate to the role of each individual. Active members of Zeta seek to unite women through a shared passion and a common goal of creating a sustainable future. Our sisters are involved in a full array of campus and community life including Maroon and Grey, Senate, FIE, Dance Co., Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, Theatre, Athletics, Delta Sigma Pi, ASUR, Admissions Hosts, Kappa Pi Art Fraternity, Community Assistants, Big Buddies, Jasper's Corner, KDAWG, Outdoor Programs, and the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies. Our philanthropy is the Wildlands Conservancy in Oak Glen, California.
