A Master of Music in Kodály Pedagogy is a graduate degree focused on music education, specifically utilizing the Kodály Method—a music teaching approach developed by Hungarian composer and educator Zoltán Kodály. This program prepares educators to teach music effectively using Kodály’s principles, which emphasize singing, ear training, music literacy, and an understanding of music theory through experiential learning and a child-centered, sequential approach.
