Officer Flores graduated from the Riverside Sheriff Academy, then worked patrol duties, with a collateral assignment to the Problem Oriented Policing team. During his tenure as a Patrol Officer, he was a Field Training Officer for almost 10 years. He was a member of the department’s Emergency Negotiations Team for over 20 years, and Peer Support Team, serving as the Team Coordinator for 3 years. He retired from the Riverside Police Department in December 2021, following a 27-year law enforcement career.

Officer Flores joined the Public Safety department in April of 2022.
