Student Teaching
The University of Redlands provides a multi-faceted teacher education program
During student teaching, teacher candidates will be paired with a Cooperating Teacher in one of our partnered school districts full-time for 14 weeks. The experienced Cooperating Teacher will model teaching practices to the student and provide daily guidance. The student will start by observing their Cooperating Teacher and gradually build up to full-time, solo teaching. Student Teachers will be supported by a University Program Supervisor throughout their student teaching experience.

- Student Teaching applications must be submitted by the designated deadline and have all required documents uploaded.
- Late applications will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Subject Matter Competency must be met to apply for student teaching.
