String Project features group lessons for beginning string students playing violin, viola, cello, or string bass.
- The youth program (Tiers 1-4) is open to students in grades 4 and up.
- The adult class is open to beginning string students as well!
The String Project is part of a national consortium that provides group instruction for string players. The classes are taught by University of Redlands music majors under the supervision of Master Teacher Becky Long and String Project Director Dr. Sakura Tsai.
Class times:
Tier 1 - Tuesday/Thursday from 4 - 4:50 p.m.
Tier 1 - Tuesday/Thursday from 5 - 5:50 p.m.
Tier 2 - Tuesday/Thursday from 5 - 5:50 p.m.
Tier 3/4 - Tuesday/Thursday from 5 - 5:50 p.m.
Adult Tier - Tuesdays from 6 - 6:50 p.m.
To enroll, submit a completed registration form to the Community School of Music and the Arts by email or mail. Students must be members in good standing of their school music programs in order to participate.
