Unique to Redlands, the Johnston Center allows you to create an education program tailored to your interests, passions, and future career. Johnston is a place where diversity and inclusion are cherished, collaboration is practiced, and ideas are debated. At the Johnston Center students like you come together to live and learn in a vibrant community. The Johnston Complex offers more than just housing; it’s a dynamic space open to all students, featuring residence halls (Bekins and Holt), faculty offices, a co-op coffee house, classrooms, and community spaces like kitchens, a music room, screening rooms, a meditation room, and an art room.
A degree from the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies at Redlands will allow you to pursue your creative passions while working with a supportive community and faculty who are dedicated to your success from day one. Alongside an academic advisor, you will create a plan (known as a Johnston Contract) that brings together classes from multiple departments, experiential learning, and cross-cultural experiences to fulfill your educational vision.
