The Undergraduate Teacher Credential Pathway is your gateway to becoming a certified teacher while completing your bachelor’s degree. Offered through the School of Education, this pathway allows you to integrate your coursework with the requirements for a teaching credential.
Declaring a concentration in the Undergraduate Teacher Credential at Redlands will set you on the path to becoming a teacher. With hands-on student teaching experience and expert guidance from faculty, you will be well-prepared to start your teaching career after graduation.
If you are a student in the College of Arts and Sciences who is interested in earning a teaching credential, you must apply to the School of Education. As an undergraduate student, you can enroll in both Child Development (EDUG 331) and Foundations of Learning (EDUG 401) before the School of Education admission process. Please contact the Graduate Enrollment Team to discuss the application process and the best credential pathway to meet your goals.
